Our Team
George Saris—George Saris relocated to the Wilmington area in 1996 to follow his dreams of further developing his knowledge and skills in metal fabrication. George has worked at Hanover Iron Works, Wilmington Sheet Metal and Cape Fear Restaurant Equipment as the chief welder before co-founding G & S Metalworx. George brings an understanding of the art of working with stainless steel and a finesse for working with various other metals to the table in this new business endeavor. George is also known for his ability to bring ideas to life by taking any and all design ideas and creating a beautiful, useful product.

Andrew Golightly—A Wilmington Native, Andrew Golightly was interested in metal work and design from a very young age. Andrew earned a degree in Welding from Cape Fear Community College and was immediately hired on as a metal fabricator at Cape Fear Restaurant Equipment. After working under his mentor, George, for a little over a year, Andrew decided to take a chance and follow his dream of becoming a business owner. Unlike other area welders, Andrew’s creative flare from years of experience in Broadway set design and construction is evident in everything he produces.
